A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS
The driving force at My Optometry is the husband and wife team of Mr. Sim Wei Kiat and Ms. Annie Lau. Hailing from Seremban and Sarawak respectively, the usually soft-spoken couple cannot hide their enthusiasm when speaking about their passion of providing top-notch comprehensive eye care. Both are optometrists with extensive experience working for a number of large optometry chains and establishments in Selangor.
However, the couple were determined to make their own mark and offer even better services to their patients. To that end, the duo embarked on their own business venture and launched My Optometry in 2019.
The couple have made it their personal mission to use their skills and expertise in optometry to bring life-changing eye treatments to as many people as possible. Hearing the testimonies from their happy customers is what keeps them going every day.
Their life’s focus has been on providing specialized eye care to every age group from providing the very best pediatric eye care to their youngest customers, to ensuring the elderly continue to enjoy good eyesight well into their golden years.
When Mr. Sim is not at My Optometry, he is on the road promoting greater public awareness of good eye health practices. This includes fulfilling his social responsibility to provide vision screening for children and other members of the public in underprivileged and at-risk communities. He also regularly collaborates with learning institutions in and around Cyberjaya to educate young people about good eye health care.
Mr. Sim holds a B. Optom. (Hons) from SEGi University and continues to attend trainings to keep abreast of the latest optometry treatments available. He is a proud Member of the Association of Malaysia Optometrists (AMO) as well as a Member of the World Council Optometry (WCO) and The College of Optometrists (UK).
Ms. Annie holds a B. Optom. (Hons) from SEGi University and continues to attend trainings to keep abreast of the latest optometry treatments available. She is a proud Member of the Association of Malaysia Optometrists (AMO) as well as a Member of the World Council Optometry (WCO) and The College of Optometrists (UK).
